Championship club Brighton & Hove Albion are trying to sign Stephen Dobbie from Swansea City.
The Seagulls are hoping they can lure the Scottish striker from South Wales according to Sky Sports with the 29-year old unlikely to have a role at the Liberty Stadium this season.
A number of attacking signings by new boss Michael Laudrup this summer has seen Dobbie slip way down the pecking order with Seagulls manager Gus Poyet keen to land him following his successful loan spell at Blackpool last season.
