Brighton boss Gus Poyet is hopeful of keeping Manchester City loanee Gai Assulin for the Championship promotion run-in. The 20-year-old winger's current loan spell is scheduled to end after Saturday's trip to Blackpool.
Poyet told The Argus:
"It's up to him. He knows where he stands, what he can achieve and the options. I already had a chat with him last week and we'll have another chat in the next couple of days." "I think we've got a great chance to keep him but everybody needs to be happy, the player, Man City and us, so we'll see. We will sort it out this week.
