Brighton & Hove Albion are set to pay a club-record fee of around £8million in order to secure the services of Alex Pritchard from Tottenham Hotspur, according to the Daily Mail.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino publicly revealed last month that Pritchard is not in his plans for the upcoming Premier League campaign and as a result, a host of top flight and Championship sides have gone on to express their interest in signing the 23-year-old winger.
Reports suggest that Chris Hughton's Seagulls have managed to win the race to secure the services of Pritchard and will be splashing a record fee in order to sign the talented attacker who had a brief loan stint with West Bromwich Albion last season.
