Brighton scored the first goal of their season as they registered a narrow 1-0 win over League Two side Barnet in the second round of the Carabao Cup.
The Seagulls have lost their opening two fixtures in Premier League, and the win against Barnet was also the first of the season.
Brighton boss Chris Hughton made 11 changes to his starting lineup and handed his star player Anthony Knockaert his first start of the season. However, it was teenager James Tilley who proved to be the difference between the two sides.
The 19-year-old, who had substituted Knockaert at half-time, scored his first senior goal in the 53rd-minute to lead the Seagulls to their debut win of the campaign.
