Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Liam Bridcutt has reportedly handed in a transfer request as he seeks a winter move to Sunderland.
Former Seagulls boss Gus Poyet is keen to bring the 24-year old Scotland international to the Stadium of Light and the player himself is eager to make the move according to Sky Sports.
Poyet signed the former Chelsea youth in 2010 when in charge at the Amex Stadium and is keen to reunite with the Brighton ace in January.
