Brighton boss Guy Poyet and his assistant Mauricio Taricco have signed new five-year deals to keep them with the Championship side until 2016. Poyet was voted LMA League One Manager of the Year last season following Brighton's League One title success and he has carried on the work this season.
"Both Tano and I would like to thank the chairman and the directors - and also my staff and the players, who have been crucial in our progression as a club," Poyet told the club's official website.
"The new contracts will allow us to make even more long-term plans, particularly with regard to the new academy and training ground.
"I am delighted to extend my stay here, as the last two years here have been absolutely fantastic."
