Brighton keeper Kuszczak: No grudge against Man Utd boss Ferguson

Brighton goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak holds no grudge against Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Pole admits he tried several times to leave United before his contract expired last summer, only to be persuaded to stay by Ferguson.

"No, I have no complaints at all," he insisted. "I instead am very grateful to him! He helped me a lot. He gave me a chance to be a part of a great team, practice every day with the best players and I developed my skills thanks to that.

"I always valued this! There was no reason for Ferguson to replaced Edwin (van der Sar) in the goal with me. I understood it very well. Because of all of that, my farewell with the boss was very warm."
