Brighton & Hove Albion chairman Tony Bloom hopes to keep hold of on-loan Swansea City striker Leroy Lita.
Lita's current deal runs to January 1.
"I think there's a great chance," said Bloom.
"I don't want to talk too much beyond 1st January. If Leroy plays games and does well there is a conversation to be had at the end of the year.
"We are delighted we've got him, he's got a great pedigree. He's a bit short of match fitness. Once he gets that I think he is going to be a huge benefit."
