Brighton & Hove Albion star Pascal Gross has stated that he is not really a prolific goalscorer.

Brighton claimed their first Premier League victory of the season by beating West Bromwich Albion 3-1 at the Amex Stadium on Saturday, with Gross proving to be the hero after grabbing a brace but despite his scoring exploits, the 26-year-old has revealed that he is not a very prolific player in front of goal.

He said: "I don't know if I am really a goalscorer. Maybe I am more the type to make assists.

"But, in this system, I come into situations where I can shoot or make the last pass. I try to help the team with my quality."
