Brighton go for Reading defender Moore, Deportivo La Coruna striker Andone

Brighton are ready to splash out on new signings in the coming days.

The Mirror says Brighton have turned their attention to Reading's Liam Moore after making Florin Andone their second signing of the summer.

Romania striker Andone will join next month on a five year deal from Deportivo La Coruna for £5.25m.

Brighton snapped him up the 25 year-old for a cut price fee after his release clause dropped from £17.5m following the Deportivo's relegation.

The Seagulls also signed Nigerian defender Leon Balogun on a free transfer from Mainz this week.

And boss Chris Hughton is eyeing further defensive reinforcements in the shape of former Leicester and England under-21 defender Moore.
