Ezequiel Schelotto will not be leaving Brighton this summer.
The right-back has been sounded out by a number of clubs in his native Argentina. But speaking on Argentinian television, Schelotto said he preferred to remain in Europe.
He said: "I don't come back for a number of reasons. It's not money or the fact I don't like the football. It's because of a lot of things.
"Today the country, lamentably, isn't in a good moment.
"I think most about my family rather than my future.
"I think education of my daughter is more important than anything else. I prefer to be there in Europe."
