Brighton face a battle to keep hold of U23 coach Liam Rosenior.

The Mirror says Rosenior is a target for the Republic of Ireland.

The Republic hierarchy are keen on former Fulham and Brighton defender Rosenior to join their coaching set-up for the under-21s.

Rosenior, 34, is currently working with Brighton's under-23s and is highly respected at the South Coast club as having a big future with them.

That has alerted Republic of Ireland with Martin O'Neill keen to improve the nation's up and coming youngsters and improving the supply line for the seniors.
