Brighton defender Schelotto preaching humility before Everton clash

Ezequiel Schelotto has warned his Brighton teammates not to get ahead of themselves after Sunday's win over Arsenal.

The memorable victory lifted Chris Hughton's side to tenth in the Premier League table. However, with how congested the table is this season, they're not out of relegation trouble just yet.

The Seagulls travel to Goodison Park this weekend to take on Everton, who they have usurped in the standings. And Schelotto knows it'll be a tough ask continuing their hot run of form.

"Everton are very strong at home," he told The Argus.

"I know they are a great old club who have been in the Premier League for a long, long time.

"To name one player. I know Rooney, an international class player who has won a lot.

"He gives them a lot of experience.

"They have bought a lot of players this season.

"We will go there with the humility which characterises this Brighton team. We are very united, not just those who play but those who are not in the team.

"That reflects well on Brighton."
