Brighton are finalising a deal for Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul.

The Argus says Krul is joining Albion on loan for the rest of the season.

Terms have been agreed between the clubs and the 29-year-old Dutchman is heading south for a medical.

Krul will be reunited at the Amex with Albion manager Chris Hughton, who he played under for the Toon.

Albion have been after another keeper to link up with Mathew Ryan and Niki Maenpaa.
