Brighton are chasing Middlesbrough midfielder Adam Forshaw.

The Daily Mail says Brighton manager Chris Hughton is considering a move for Forshaw at Middlesbrough.

Hughton is eager to strengthen his midfield options ahead of the new season in the Premier League.

His keenness to add players is enhanced after seeing a deal for Gent's Renato Neto fall through and allowing Oliver Norwood to join Fulham.

Forshaw, formerly with Everton and Brentford, was one of the few plus points for Middlesbrough last season.
