Brighton captain Bruno: We had to match Coventry passion

Brighton captain Bruno was delighted with their FA Cup win over Coventry City.

The returning skipper said his side treated their fifth-round opponents Coventry City with the maximum respect.

Bruno said: “What we wanted, as an absolute minimum, was to have the same desire as them.

“We showed the respect we have for the opposition, even though they are in League Two.

“In theory they were an inferior opponent but we gave them all the respect possible.

“You saw that from the attitude with which we started the game.

“Of course, I loved being back at the Amex."
