Brighton boss Poyet turns down Reading proposal

Reports suggest that Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet has turned down an offer from Reading.

The Uruguayan has been targeted by the Royals since they sacked Brian McDermott recently but it is believed that he wants to focus on what he is building with the Seagulls since November 2009.

Reading owner Anton Zingarevich reportedly made a lucrative offer in an attempt to lure Poyet to Berkshire but more recent reports suggest that the former Chelsea forward is keen to remain in Brighton.
