Tottenham are set to land Brighton defender Grant Hall.

Hall, 20, has rejected a new contract offer from the Seagulls and is now ready to sign for Spurs.

He played for Tottenham's Academy side in a friendly at Kingstonian on Monday and Brighton are now awaiting contact from Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas.

Brighton manager Gus Poyet would still like to keep the player and said: "We'll see where he finishes. It's up to him."
