Brighton boss Gus Poyet has no doubts about his big name signing Vicente.

Former Valencia winger Vicente, capped 38 times by Spain, made his full debut for the Seagulls in the home draw with Hull.

He keeps his place for Tuesday's trip to Millwall, and Poyet said: "I do not believe I took a chance in bringing him to England.

"Vicente has played Champions League football and won big trophies.

"He can become a major player for us, we need to make him influential."
