Brighton & Hove Albion manager Gus Poyet is expecting Spaniard Vicente to stay with the club next term.
The 30-year old former Valencia midfielder is out of contract this summer but Poyet believes he will remain at the Amex Stadium despite some clubs showing plenty of interest.
"The situation is very clear. There are no issues. Everything is all right. It's just trying to make sure that all parties are happy with the situation.
"I suppose he could get offers but I think we have a great option because he has been playing a lot for us which hasn't happened in the past. Hopefully he puts that into consideration as well.
"He is still our player until June 30 and we have a great chance of keeping him.""Vicente is away but we are in contact with him and I think there is a big possibility he will be with us next season," the Seagulls boss told The Argus.
