Brighton boss Gus Poyet praised two-goal Olivier Giroud after their FA Cup defeat to Arsenal.

The Frenchman got glowing tributes from both Poyet and Arsene Wenger.

Poyet said: "Giroud was outstanding. He's big, powerful, can take the ball on the run and oozes class."

Arsenal manager Wenger said: "Giroud's physical power was really important. He took his chances well."
