Brighton boss Hughton unconcerned about misfiring Locadia

Brighton manager Chris Hughton is not worried about his star striker Jurgen Locadia missing chances.

Locadia is a slight worry for Brighton, after his recent performance against AFC Wimbledon saw him miss three one-on-one opportunities.

However, his manager believes the player must keep getting into good positions and the goals will arrive.

Hughton said to The Argus: "He has had a very good pre-season so far. He has come back in really good shape.

"He didn't get the end product but that is what the pre-season period is about.

"For somebody who is a right-footed player - but who has a good left foot as well and can get good power with his left foot - I think all of his chances came on his left foot.

"I would rather we have striker who is going to get in there and miss chances at this stage of the season. That is certainly a positive."
