Brighton boss Hughton: Locadia now ready for Stoke

Brighton boss Chris Hughton says Jurgen Locadia is ready for his Premier League debut.

Dutch forward Locadia arrived from Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven during last month's transfer window but was carrying a hamstring injury.

Hughton, whose 13th-placed team are three points ahead of 18th-placed Stoke, said: "He obviously hasn't been involved in any games, Under-23 games or so, but he will have completed a good week and a half of training going into the game so certainly he'll be in the squad.

"We know where he is at the moment, he has been out for a period of time. Some players can fit straight back in after that period, some take just that little bit longer.

"The most important thing for us is that he is now fit and available. And of course he will have the opportunity to help the team and to help us try and get the results that we need to get and we look forward to that.

"He's an offensive player that so far this season at his previous club has a good record of scoring goals."
