Brighton boss Chris Hughton has been talking about the increasing pressure managers face.

"What we are seeing, and it is not just this season, is a real pressure on managers to perform," says Hughton.

"We are very conscious that we are in an era where in the past managers would have been given more time, it seems like now there is so much pressure, particularly with the changing ownership it is instant success and the real fear of dropping out of the division.

"It makes it more precarious for managers and there is more pressure on managers."
