Brighton will be happy at the impact made by their two new signings in a recent friendly against Nice.
Both Alireza Jahanbakhsh and Florin Andone made their first appearances for the Premier League side in France.
The behind closed doors friendly resulted in a 1-0 win for Brighton.
The two new signings managed 45 minutes in the game, much to the delight of the coaching staff.
Manager Chris Hughton told The Argus: "Overall it was a very good exercise, a good run-out for us.
"It was hot conditions but, come the first game of the season at Watford, it might be hot then as well.
"We managed to get Florin and Alireza 45 minutes, which was good and always the plan, and we gave (Yves) Bissouma (above) an hour, which was good as well."
