Brewster admits ambition beyond Inverness Caley

Craig Brewster admits he has ambitions beyond Inverness Caley.

Brewster has revitalised the Highlanders in his second spell in charge after a disastrous stint at Dundee United.

But following a pep talk from Walter Smith - whose Rangers side he tackles today - Brew won't ever make the kind of snap decision that saw him join United in 2006.

The Caley boss said: "From the minute I came back I've felt as if I was never away.

"I've heard people claim me and Caley are made for each other and it's my club but that's easy to say because it didn't work out for me at Tannadice. Everybody has ambitions and I'm the same.

"The United experience hasn't put me off. My heart ruled my head and if I got a chance like that again I'd think a lot more about it.

"Walter was talking about his time at Everton and how things weren't what he thought they'd be.

"He told us to be aware of just thinking 'This is a great job' and look at the big picture."
