Mark Bresciano netted a goal to give Palermo a 2-0 win against AC Milan in Italy's Serie A overnight. The Australian international scored the second goal for the Sicilians, in the 62nd minute, to wrap up the encounter at Milan's San Siro after Fabrizio Miccoli had put the visitors in front just after half-time.
Bresciano slotted home after a loose ball from a Javier Pastore shot fell to him and he finished efficiently. The win allowed Palermo to kick five points clear in 13th placed on the table whilst AC fell five points title rivals Inter at the top.
