Palermo midfielder Mark Bresciano says he is happy where he is with club football. The 29-year old Australian international has been constantly linked with a move away from the Serie A club in the past few seasons but has stayed put and is enjoying his stint with the Rosanero.
"'It's all going good in Italy. I am enjoying it we have only had two games this season - we won one and lost one, which is just average I suppose," Bresciano said from Korea where is he on international duty with the Socceroos.
"It took me a long time to get over that year (when Sven Goran Eriksson almost signed him for Manchester City but the deal fell through because his club held out). I lost a year out of my career, mainly because of personal reasons.
"Mentally I just wasn't switched on and I wasn't there. Now I am enjoying it. That's the main thing, I am making the most out of it, I am enjoying training again. When you are physically fit and injury free it's a big thing."
Bresciano admitted that one day he will leave Europe but was unsure if he would end his career in the A-League.
"I think, eventually there will be a time when I want to leave Europe. I will have a think about it, but it's not my priority," he added.
''It's nice to know that people want me back (in Australia). I think eventually I will come home - 120 per cent I will be living in Melbourne.
"Whether I will be finishing my career there or not, who knows. I would love to be part of something, and try and give back something [of] what the game has given me.''
