Mark Bresciano is supremely confident that his new club will climb out of a bad trot and fight their way back up the UAE Pro-League table.
Bresciano joined Al Nasr from Italian outfit Lazio in August but hasn't had too much joy as the club sits eighth on the 12-team table with four points from four matches.
The Australian international, who scored in Thursday's 2-1 season-first win at Dubai, is aware things haven't quit gone to plan but is confident it will soon change for the good.
"The quality of players is right and we have the right coaching staff. I think this is just a bad period for us that we are going through," Bresciano told Gulf News. "I think soon enough things will change - the season is long and hopefully we won't be at the bottom by the end.
"We're all looking for the answer. It's a good question. But sometimes that's just football. Sometimes periods go well for you and sometimes there are negative periods. We're passing by a negative period but hopefully things will change.
"Al Nasr finished third last season, so it can't be a case that we're a bad team overnight. That's just the way the game goes sometimes. The aim of the game is to score goals and we haven't."
