"Scott has been at a couple of Australian training camps with me and been quite impressive," Bresciano told The Herald. "He's maybe not started many games for Australia, but he's a guy who's very important to the future of the national side.
"I think he's the kind of player who can unsettle Milan and cause their central defenders a few problems. He has that little burst of pace to go in behind them and the sharpness that can get them turned.
"Scott's got a lot of good qualities and it would be just fantastic for Australian football if he was to show them against a team such as Milan. It doesn't get any bigger than playing the European champions, but I'm sure there won't be any fear on his part.
"I knew that he had settled in well at Celtic and scoring a hat trick proves that Scott is in excellent form. I'll definitely watch the game against Milan and I really hope to see him do well. It's an exciting time for his career right now."
