Brentford refuse to give up on keeping hold of Uwe Rosler.
The former Manchester City striker is the top managerial target of Wigan Athletic chairman Dave Whelan.
Brentford sporting director Mark Warburton told the London Evening Standard: "Everyone is just assuming that he will go because Wigan are a Championship club and obviously it is an attractive proposition but we have a big project here and the owner has invested a lot. It will be a big decision but that is what life is about."
