Brentford midfielder McEachran: I can play for England

Brentford midfielder Josh McEachran has not given up of his dream of playing for England.

McEachran was seen as a huge talent when he was a part of the Chelsea youth setup and England under-21s.

Now 25, McEachran has seen many of his under-21 teammates go on to play for the senior team at the World Cup.

And he has not given up on joining them in the future.

He said to Sky Sports News: "Seeing some of the lads playing in the World Cup - I was playing with some of them through from the U16s to the U21s, so there's no reason I can't go on to play for England.

"I was really happy for the manager (Gareth Southgate), Steve (Holland, assistant manager) and all the players, because I think it brought English football back on track."
