Leeds United boss Simon Grayson will take a look at several Brazilian trialists next month. The players, all of whom currently ply their trade in Europe, will link up with the Yorkshire club in mid-July for the first few weeks of pre-season training.
"We have to keep spreading our net further," Leeds chairman Ken Bates told Yorkshire radio. "We have seven Brazilians coming over in July who have all played with top clubs in Europe at different levels.
"It has come through an arrangement with a chap who specialises in Central and South America. He has a proven record, he has seven players in the Premier League and he wants to work with us.
"Nothing may come of it, but you have to cast your net far and wide."
