Barcelona fullback Daniel Alves is being mocked by sections of the Brazilian media while back home on international duty.

El Mundo Deportivo says some media outlets have branded Alves a "metrosexual" over his fashion sense and also after he was stopped from travelling to Venezuela by airport cops with six tubs of moisturising cream!

There are also some media representatives who have taken issue with how Alves is now speaking Portuguese - with a Spanish accent.
