Brazilian legend Carlos Alberto would like to see Inter Milan fullback Douglas Maicon move to Manchester City.
Maicon has been linked with a switch to the Etihad Stadium in a swap deal with Carlos Tevez and Carlos Alberto believes his countryman has the talent to succeed in the Premier League.
"Maicon is a very good player and I hope he would be a success here in England," he told Sportinglife.com.
"He would be good for the team. Looking at Manchester City through the years, every year they try to be better and I hope this year that Manchester City can fight for the title."
