Brazilian football is delighted for Oscar after his big splash for Chelsea this week.
Brazil manager Mano Menezes handed Oscar his full debut against Argentina last September, only a month after the youngster scored a hat-trick against Portugal in the Under-20 World Cup final in Colombia.
Menezes said: "Oscar wears the No10 for Brazil and we don't give that shirt out to just anybody.
"He is able to read the game and solve any problems that arise for his team.
"He does not rush and dribble with the ball at his feet but he finds good things to do with the ball."
On Wednesday, he also showed the cool head that his international team-mate Thiago Silva believes is one of his key attributes.
Silva said: "The thing about Oscar is that he is a very calm guy, always with a smile on his face and never complaining about anything. He is the same on the pitch. He doesn't call much attention to himself. He is discreet but he is always very smart and intelligent."
