Brazilian club Flamengo have come out and said that Inter Milan's wayward striker Adriano wants to join them.
There has been growing speculation that Adriano would leave Inter and Flamengo vice-president Kleber Leite has confirmed the players agent contacted the club.
"When I was on my way to the presentation of our new Coach Cuca I had a call from Adriano's agent Gilmar Rinaldi," Leite claimed.
"He told me that his client wants to come here to play for us. Obviously it's good news because we would like the player.
"I asked Rinaldi to contact Inter's directors and to find out what needs to be done."
