Brazilian club Fluminese are targeting Chelsea midfielder Deco in an ambitious summer transfer move.

The 32-year old Brazilian-born Portugal international has just one season left on his contract with the Blues but Fluminese are keen to lure him back to his original homeland.

Deco's agent Acaz Felleger has confirmed that the Brazilian outfit have enquired about his client and the decision now lies with the London club.

"Contact has been made but there has been nothing formal yet. We have had other propositions from Brazil but we will wait until the end of the season so Deco can concentrate on football," he said.

"The decision rests with Chelsea but maybe they will allow him to go as one day he would like to return to Brazil to be close to his family."

Fluminese's rivals Flamingo and Corinthians are both believed to be interested in Deco as well.
