Brazil legend Leo Junior says Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula would suit the Premier League.

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri has announced plans to sign Lapadula this summer.

Junior, who had two years with Pescara, told TMW: "I've seen him in a couple of games and I was impressed. Although not a kid, meaning he did not explode very young, now he can safely play in Serie A. He's a fighter, shooting from outside the box, he scores from all angles.

"For the features he has, the English league would be very suitable. It would be quite a coup."
