Brazil's medical chief admits Real Madrid star Kaka should not have played at the World Cup. Jose Luiz Runco has revealed Kaka was "85 per cent" fit and in "normal circumstances would not have been playing".
Kaka's first season was blighted by injury and he admitted before the World Cup that he may undergo more surgery to fix his troublesome groin problems.
"While he wasn't fully fit," said Runco, " he showed great dedication and was very serious about his work.
"In another situation, perhaps Kaka would not have played in the World Cup."
