Brazil coach Tite has explained withdrawing the captaincy from Neymar.

Tite says the country is asking too much from the Barcelona star to carry.

For the World Cup qualifier with Colombia, Juventus fullback Daniel Alves will wear the captain's armband.

"I said from the Olympic team it is inhuman to ask so much of an athlete, even though he's one of the three best players in the world.

"Football isn't like this. You have to divide responsibilities because doing so also gives power to all, even Neymar," said Tite.
