Brazil coach Dunga beaming after victory over Italy

Brazil coach Dunga was beaming after last night's 2-0 victory over Italy.

Manchester City pair Elano and Robinho struck for Brazil and Dunga declared afterwards: "It is one of our best performances! We studied Italy very carefully and did a lot of training on the tactical issues.

"We had real quality and also grit, but one has to be humble in order to be great. We proved that tonight."

Elano and Robinho hit the back of the net in the first half to seal the scoreline and Fiorentina's Felipe Melo made his international debut.

"Everyone knows Robinho's quality, but the whole team played well. That includes Felipe Melo, who has learned how to mark players under Cesare Prandelli's guidance.

"Adriano battled hard, he did well, too."

There was tension in the final minutes when Dunga repeatedly argued with Gianluca Zambrotta on the sidelines.

"He came to complain to me about the fouls, but if I had talked at every bad tackle it would've been a soap opera.

"Football is rough and you have to play it."
