Brann Bergen go for Stoke winger Phillips

Brann Bergen have approached Stoke City about taking diminutive winger Demar Phillips on loan.

The Sentinel says Brann are interested in teaming up Phillips with Jamaican compatriot Rudolph Austin before the end of the January transfer window.

Both Phillips and Austin moved to Stoke in July 2007 after being recommended by fellow Jamaican Ricardo Fuller, but Austin failed to secure a work permit to play in England.
