Wigan Athletic defender Titus Bramble admits they must start picking up points again - starting with victory on Saturday against Portsmouth.
The international break has prolonged the agony and Bramble admitted: "When you get beaten like we did against United you want to get into the next one straight away.
"But we have had to wait two weeks for the chance to put it right. And the way Portsmouth are playing, we'll have our work cut out.
"We've been unlucky in a couple of games - we should have taken something from the Reading and Liverpool games - and we have got to start picking up points again."
