Sunderland defender Titus Bramble is happy to see skipper Lee Cattermole back in action.

Bramble believes the 24-year-old will become increasingly effective in the next few games as he builds up match fitness.

He told safc.com: "The game at the weekend was Catts' first game back for a while and obviously he was trying his best to get up to match speed.

"It's frustrating when you've been out for a while but he'll get better with time - we all know what a good player he is."
