Sunderland defender Titus Bramble is a big fan of Manchester United striker Danny Welbeck.
Bramble, one of only seven players still at Sunderland to play alongside Welbeck in his loan spell, is a big admirer of the 22-year-old.
He told the Evening Chronicle: "It was plain to see to all the players here he had so much ability.
"He was young, enthusiastic and that season with us did the world of good for him. He went back to United and now he is a regular for England and playing very well.
"Even in the early days of his time here, we could see how much ability he had, but as time went on he just got better and better. We knew he could hold his own for Man U, but with the money they have they can buy whoever they want to really.
"It is a credit to him he has played so much. He is a great guy, works hard every day in training and wants to learn. It is paying off now."
