Former AC Milan chief Ariedo Braida supports their push for AS Roma striker Mattia Destro.
Destro continues to be linked with a January move to Milan as he remains on the outer of Roma coach Rudi Garcia's first team plans.
Braida declared: "Milan have need of a true striker, this team is missing a big centre forward.
"If Destro goes to Milan he can regain all possible conditions to return to the true Destro. The only team that can find space for him is Milan."
Braida was also asked about Liverpool midfielder Suso, who has committed to a Milan pre-contract.
"Suso? A valid and interesting player, he should be seen as a discovery player, but has untapped potential. He is a guy who has come to show what they say about him."
