Braga defender Wallace has announced he is joining Lazio.

The 21-year-old spent last season on loan at French side Monaco.

On Thursday revealed he had joined the Biancocelesti. He has signed a five-year contract.

“It is an honour to be part of this great club with a great history," Wallace wrote on his Instagram account alongside pictures of himself with leading Lazio officials. “Thank you President Lotito.

“Now it is official. We have just signed for five years."
