Braga coach Jose Peseiro hopes to wreck the anniversary celebrations of Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Peseiro has congratulated Ferguson on the 26th anniversary of his appointment as Manchester United manager - but is confident there will be little for the Scot to celebrate when the two teams meet on Wednesday night.

Peseiro said: "I would like to stay with one team for that amount of time, although it is impossible - I am 52 years old and I don't think a team will take me for that many more years!

"But my team do not want to give anything to Sir Alex Ferguson.

"He is a fantastic coach, and an example to any coach with his quality. I have spoken with him a few times and you can learn so much in just 10 or 15 minutes speaking with him.

"Congratulations to him, but tomorrow I think he will go back to Manchester no happier."
