Hull City winger Robbie Brady is eager to prove his fitness ahead of next month's FA Cup final.
The Republic of Ireland international has managed just 16 Premier League appearances this season due to ongoing groin problems which required surgery in March.
Brady last played on February 11 but is looking to get back in match condition by the middle of May before hopefully gaining a spot in Steve Bruce's squad for the May 17 cup final with Arsenal at Wembley.
"I thought I'd be out for the season," he told the club's official website.
"But I'm a couple of weeks ahead of my rehab now and we have the FA Cup final against Arsenal at the end of the season so, hopefully, I'll be back in contention for that game.
"If I can get fit for the Everton game on May 11, that'll have me in good stead.
"There are international games coming up as well, which could give me a bit of game time under my belt."
